Gilmore Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A golf course next to Gilmore Lake is Fort Collins Country Club Golf, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Overland Trail. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Front Range. camp here for a while, Heron Lake RV Park is a great place for that. While you're here at Gilmore Lake, you could also explore pretty Curtis Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River. Summertime at Gilmore Lake
comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Gilmore Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter
are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay The Armstrong Hotel is a magnificent choice, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Wintersteen Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Gilmore
Lake; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Curtis Lake Dam is beautiful and it's right next door to Gilmore Lake; you can stay the night at Fort Collins KOA.
