An afternoon playing golf at Fort Collins Country Club Golf is always a bliss; get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Cache La Poudre River. Gilmore Lake is not far at all from Fort Collins-Loveland, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Cache La Poudre River - North Fork. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Gilmore Lake; Overland Trail is a fine local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Front Range.

| | Not far from Gilmore Lake you get some magnificent water scenery at Curtis Lake Dam, and if you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn - Fort Collins is a fine choice. At Gilmore Lake you don’t see much rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gilmore Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heron Lake RV Park, and Curtis Lake | |

is a nice lake nearby. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Gilmore Lake has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Greyrock Trail, and Budget Host Inn Fort Collins is a fine site to get
some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Fort Collins KOA, and lakes are such calm places, why not pop by North Poudre Reservoir Number 1. All year is a great time in the Front Range if you have a thing about the outdoors.
All our national parks are tremendous locations to go to, and Rocky Mountain National Park is no exception; don't leave Gilmore Lake without first going for a hike along the Wintersteen Trail. This lake is one of the great places
here in the Front Range. The warmest time of the year at Gilmore Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Gilmore Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
