There are some nice whitewater spots on White River - South Fork, and Gilley Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Hill Creek Campground and Trailhead is a magnificent place to camp nearby. For the duration of the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Gilley       Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Gilley Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Sure, Stump Lake is around here, and going for a hike on the Fayville Trail is always a nice adventure. Clark Cabin Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and at Gregor Dam in close proximity to Gilley Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see. Gilley Lake is a location that is pretty dried out ordinarily; during the month of October you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Gilley Lake really is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise.
