What a spot this is for outdoors people. Lake Envy is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Marys Lake Lodge is a brilliant spot to get some rest. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range. If you're here, you might as well stop at Buchanan Pass, and if you get bored of Lake Gibraltar you could also stop at nearby Cony Lake. Summertime highs at Lake Gibraltar frequently tend to be in the 70's. Once       the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Gibraltar temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Buchanan Pass Trail, and get drenched paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - North. Take a hike on the Gourd Lake Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Gibraltar that you need to camp here for a while,                  Pawnee Lake Campground is a wonderful spot for that. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back over and over. Some of the water close by flows, like Thunderbolt Creek, and Elk Tooth is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. Lake Gibraltar is located in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Winter Park, and Cooper Peak is delightful and can be observed from here. Fox Park is a tremendous spot to stretch your legs a bit; dry warm beds await you at Inn At Grand Lake, The. All our national parks are pleasant sites to explore, and Rocky Mountain National Park is no exception, and Berthoud Pass is a very popular ski area close at hand. Not much precipitation falls here at Lake Gibraltar; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. People from Boulder love to come to Lake Gibraltar. Lake Gibraltar in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Lake Gibraltar is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Shelter Rock Campground is a fine local campground; paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range.
