     Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Near Ghost Lake you hit upon the Long Ridge Stock Driveway which is a fine hiking trail, and Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a nice place to get some rest. Having a great time at Ghost Lake is simple. Going for a hike on the McKenzie Stock Driveway is always a brilliant adventure. There's so much to do here at Ghost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Clear Creek  
   Campground is a nice location for that. Ghost Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Not much precipitation falls here at Ghost Lake; during August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Nearby lakes? Sure, Seepage Lake is close to Ghost Lake, and you obtain a great vista of Antelope Mountain from here. Do pop by Santa Maria Lake Dam since you're here at Ghost Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything
 
               Ghost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rio Grande Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Middle Creek Stock Driveway; you can run the rapids of Rio Grande. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Santa Maria Pass is a great spot to spend some time at, and if you've had enough of Ghost Lake, Bristol Head Reservoir Number 2 is nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
At Ghost Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ghost Lake.
