This lake is so wonderful. Take a side spree to Clear Creek, needless to say you could also visit Fire Box Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. A lake close by is Turkey Plot Reservoir, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Horsefly Trail.

Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend San Miguel River; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Dry Creek Trail. Geyser Reservoir is pretty waterless frequently; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places

This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Hampton Inn Montrose, and Hanks Valley is also a tremendous place to look at. ...ocals feel for the mountains.
Adding to Telluride's reputation for legendary terrain, the resort is thrilled to announce the opening of Revelation Bowl. This spectacular European-style terrain, located directly off the back side of famous Gold Hill, will be served by a new quad lift. Situated above tree line, the natural, wide-open bowl offers advanced and expert skiing in an unbelievably scenic setting.
The opening of Revelation Bowl is just part of Telluride's incredible expansion this year. Public hike-to access in Black Iron Bowl, Palmyra Peak and Gold Hill Chutes 6-10 opened to rave reviews in January. All told, the resort has expanded by nearly 400 acres, offering the most stunning skiing and riding on the continent over its 2000 acres.
Telluride effortlessly mingles urban sophistication, historic charm and mountain spirit.
The destination offers over 50 restaurants, bars and coffee shops. For aprŠs ski try Gorrono Ranch mid-mountain, Allred's or the turn-of-the-century Sheridan Bar on Main Street.
The varied restaurants offer a cuisine culture to rival New York...
