This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Geyser Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Dry Creek Trail; there are other spots here than Geyser Reservoir, for example Fire Box Reservoir. Yeah, come up here to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains for a great time. Near Geyser Reservoir you come across the Paradox Road which is a good hiking trail, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous       whitewater of San Miguel River. Why not camp at Iron Spring Campground while you're here at Geyser Reservoir, and the Horsefly Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Summertime highs at Geyser Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Geyser Reservoir. Geyser Reservoir                  is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. At Geyser Reservoir you always meet someone from Montrose, and a splendid spot for whitewater paddling is San Miguel River. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. If you came for an overnight stay Antone Spring Campground is a good site to camp, and a quick trip to Clear Creek is beyond doubt a pleasant idea. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. Cedar Spring is an inspiring place to take a look at while you're here, and a great location to explore is Hanks Valley.
