Rocky Mountain Lake
 | 12 miles away Good fishing here if you are willing to experiment. Limited shoreline access because of the weed structures but those weeds hold good size bass. I have found it easy to catch 10-14 inch largemouth in the open spots with plastic worms and surface lures. I have only fished there four times as of this writing (07/13/2007) but have enjoyed each visit. My best fish so far was a 17'' largemouth caught on a Jitterbug. Take the kids!... |

The Denver Boat Club rents it from the city so they can water ski. The Baseline Res Group is a group of 250 families that rent a corner of the lake from the Denver Boat Club. If you want to use this lake you MUST be a guest of one of these groups. Since it is a water supply these groups are obligated to follow strict rules. They cannot allow anyone to just hop the fence and play because their privileges will be taken away.
