Many people like to go to George Lake. While you're here at George Lake, you could also go to beautiful Martha Lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River. This lake is so wonderful. Summit Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and the top of Round Mountain is easily observed from George Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Winterwood Townhomes is a brilliant location

| | to get some rest, and why not camp at Summit Lake Campground if you're here at George Lake.
Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do near George Lake. George Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Steamboat, and going for a hike on the Percy Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure.

hiking trail right next door to George Lake called the Fish Creek Falls Trail, and while you're here you can play some golf at Haymaker Golf Course. At George Lake you don’t see much rain; December is the month that gets the most
snow, and August is when it's the driest. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more cool things to do in the Park Range. Not far from George Lake you can enjoy the trees of Routt National Forest; on a great day you can take a
hike along the Newcomb Creek Trail.
Buffalo Pass is a fine place to take a look at close by; if you came for an overnight stay Granite Campground is a fine location to camp. Throughout the summer months here at George Lake, high
temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; nighttime lows at George Lake through the winter usually plunge into the-10's. After
a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Howelsen Hill.
