All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Park Range will keep you coming back persistently. Going for a hike on the Rock Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Colorado
River. A brilliant nearby hotel is Sheraton Mountain Vista Resort; perfect skiing awaits you at Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sheep Drive Trail, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Beaver
Creek is a fine choice. Lakes are glorious; Beaver Dam Lake is a lake that's right next door to George Lake, and good hiking is available along the Piney Lake Trail. George Lake is in the neighborhood of McCord Pass which is positively
worth checking out, and Upper State Park is a delightful location any time of year. George Lake is generally a pretty dried out location; July is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake
is so wonderful. From George Lake you get a good vista of Cottonwood Peak, and you can run the rapids of Piney River.
