It's always fun to stop by Geneva Lake. Not much rain falls here at Geneva Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. There's so much to do here at Geneva Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meri-daes RV Park and General Store is a wonderful place for that, and Laurelwood Condominiums is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Geneva Lake, for example

| | Snowfield Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Wildwood Lodge. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway, and naturally Silver Creek flows through this neighborhood. High temperatures at Geneva Lake during the summer months are in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Geneva Lake drop into the-10's. Interesting | |

geology is available here; Devils Rockpile is right next door to Geneva Lake, and one of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Geneva Lake is Hagerman Peak. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining
stuff at Geneva Lake. If you came to camp Avery Peak Campground is a delightful place to do that. The slopes of Irwin Lodge are so inviting nobody can resist; there's whitewater on Crystal River for all you adrenaline people. This
lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Geneva Lake it's a nice idea to pop by Lead King Basin; what would winter be without some skiing at Aspen Highlands. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down
to Geneva Lake. Take a hike on the Blue Creek Trail, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not explore Little Gem Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Crystal River - North Fork, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Geneva Lake; Trail Riders Trail is a great local trail.

Excellent white-water kayaking on the Crystal River, for the experienced expert only. Coors Falls at Lead King Basin is a top scale challenge, as is the 2-mile river course from the Crystal Mill. Somewhat milder is the Crystal River from Marble to Redstone. Beyond Redstone gets a little hairy... |
Lost Lake Campground
 | 15 miles away I just camped at Lost Lake 2 weeks ago! It is so beautiful and serene they were holding a wedding there 2 days after we left. With only 10 campsites, it is quiet and ideal for families or couples. A beautiful view of Lost Lake Slough and of the mountains in the background greeted us in the morning. The full moon rising over the crest of the mountain was a real treat the first night we got there. There is a 3 mile hike within walking distance on which we saw beautiful wildflowers, 2 waterfalls, and 3 lakes. ENJOY!... |

Our Mission:
Our greatest desire is that God would use Camp West for His glory in bringing people to him in evangelism and discipleship. Our prayer is that this occurs both in the retreats we host and the summer camps we operate for children and youth.
For good reason, we qualify the types of organizations that may use this facility to those who are best described as 'Bible believing'. In other words, they are churches and ministries that believe the Bible to be God's inerrant and inspired word, and live out their lives in regards to what the Bible teaches. That is not to say that all groups that use this camp are in total agreeement on all issues. But on the basics of biblical orthodoxy, we must agree.
