Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Park Range rules! Gem Lake is right by the Main Fork Trail; needless to say, this is a perfect region for people who like lakes, Lake Diana is a lake in the vicinity. The Gem Lake Trail offers hiking at its best; here at Gem Lake you can observe Buck Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Village at Steamboat. For the duration of the       days of summer highs here at Gem Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Gem Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Park Range has to offer. There's whitewater on Encampment River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; do take a hike on the Stump Park Trail. If you adore the outdoors,                  you'll adore Gem Lake. There are some fine whitewater spots on Elk River; why not camp at Lakeside Campground if you're here at Gem Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a good choice; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Sanchez Lakes. A pleasant spot to camp here at Gem Lake is Beaver Creek Campground, and Encampment Meadows is a great site.
