Don't miss out on a spree to Mesa Verde National Park since you're here at Gardner Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Dunton Hot Springs. Float down the rapids of Dolores River in a kayak; going for a hike on the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful.       Dunham Spring is a gorgeous place to stop by while you're at Gardner Reservoir, and there are brilliant places to look at along the Stoner Stock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Dolores River offers some good whitewater. High temperatures at Gardner Reservoir during the summertime are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
