On a glorious day at Gardner Park Reservoir you can take a hike along the South Derby Trail, and Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a magnificent place to get some rest. Gardner Park Reservoir gets very little rain; during the month of March you get the most snow around here while June is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The High Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of Gardner Park Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express EAGLE is a glorious location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a look at nearby Coal Creek while you're here at Gardner Park Reservoir, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Ute Trail.
