If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Garcia Lake. The warmest time of the year at Garcia Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Garcia Lake. rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Rio Brazos, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Red Lake Trail. There's so much to do here at Garcia Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trujillo Meadows Campground
is a great place for that, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the La Manga Stock Driveway.
And if that's not enough there's a heap more amusing things to do in the San Juan Mountains. Cumbres Pass is
a fine place to explore right next door to Garcia Lake. Garcia Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. Garcia Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is June.
