A lake nearby is Elk Lake, and Porter Flat is right here at Gander Pond. It is very arid here at Gander Pond typically; throughout March this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is June. La Quinta Inn & Suites Rifle is a good site to get some rest, and you obtain a brilliant vista of Baldridge Point from here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Rifle. Having a delightful       time at Gander Pond is uncomplicated. Hanson Draw is a magnificent site to explore close by, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the High Trail. Gander Pond is not the only place close by, Currier Number 2 Reservoir is a close by lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Monument Trail. Camping is available at Buzzard Campground; going for a hike along the Silver Spruce Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.                  This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Aspen Grove Campground is a delightful place to camp, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Beaver Creek. At Gander Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
