Flying Saucer RV Park is a nice campground here, and Residence Inn By Marriott Denver Highlands Ranch is a glorious spot to get some rest. South Platte River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. High temperatures at Gallup Reservoir through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's, and after       the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Gallup Reservoir sink into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Denver Cherry Creek, also Belisle Dam is worth visiting if you're here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area right next door to Gallup Reservoir has to offer. Stay the night at South Park Mobile Home Park, and a good place to pop by is Lee Gulch. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here                  at Gallup Reservoir and you like golf, you can go to Englewood Golf Course, and it's a glorious idea to stop by Big Dry Creek. Gallup Reservoir is pretty dry frequently; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; January is when it's the driest.
