Not far from G Lake, you'll locate Irish Lakes which is a pretty lake, and if you're looking for a fine journey, Dinosaur National Monument is quite near. A great site to take a look at in the vicinity of G Lake is Fonce Wash; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Bull Trail. At G Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's.       Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at G Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Going for a hike along the Joe Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
