G Lake is right by the Joe Trail, and if you've had enough of G Lake, Fonce Lake is nearby. G Lake gets very little rain; October is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Matt Trail is glorious fun, and a tremendous place to take a look at nearby is Fonce Wash. Why not take a refreshing hike along the       Bull Trail, and Dinosaur National Monument is a great location nearby. For the period of the summer highs here at G Lake reach the 80's; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
