Fuchs Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. This place, the San Juan Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Dry warm beds await you at Double Spur Lodge & Ranch, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Hot Creek Stock Driveway. Stunner Campground is a glorious campground here, and don't forget to take a good little tour to Toll Gate Creek. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Fuchs Reservoir reach the 60's. | | lows plunge down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Fuchs Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's.
Camping at Fuchs Reservoir is great fun, Mix Lake Campground is a great local campground, and why not take a look at Fuchs Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Fuchs Reservoir is located in the San Juan Mountains.

Lodge is a good place to get some rest, and Conejos River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. So much amusing stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains, not sufficient time. You get a great vista of Bonito Mountain from Fuchs Reservoir;
on a nice day you can take a hike along the Dry Creek Stock Driveway. Any time is a brilliant time at Fuchs Reservoir if you adore the outdoors. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on
Rio Grande, and the Wolf Creek Stock Driveway is a perfect hiking trail close by.
The high level of rainfall makes Fuchs Reservoir a pretty wet place; March is when you get the most snow here; June is the month with the least moisture.
