     If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Fuchs Reservoir. Fuchs Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, River Hill Campground is a splendid local campground; going for a hike on the Middle Creek Stock Driveway is always a nice adventure. There's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Big Ruby Dam next to Fuchs Reservoir, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Fern Creek Stock Driveway. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy  
   the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Rio Grande in a kayak, and do stop by Quartz Creek if you're here at Fuchs Reservoir.
All the outdoors cool things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Near Fuchs Reservoir you stumble on the Long Ridge Stock Driveway which is a brilliant hiking trail; lakes are such
 
               peaceful spots, why not visit Ruby Lake. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fuchs Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Road Canyon Campground is a great spot for that, and you'll stumble on a wonderful lake called Big Ruby Reservoir. Around Fuchs Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Fuchs Reservoir typically tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Fuchs Reservoir dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights.
