This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. So much enjoyable stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just astonishing. There's always Fox Acres Dam to go to in the vicinity of Fox Acres Reservoir, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the North Lone Pine Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Peak To Peak Lodge Inc.       And that's not all the things to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Enjoy a round of golf at Fox Acres Country Club not far from Fox Acres Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is good on Cache La Poudre River. For the period of the summertime at Fox Acres Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Fox Acres Reservoir nighttime low                  temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. The Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Fox Acres Reservoir.
