Throughout the summer highs here at Fox Acres Reservoir get into the 80's. Summer night lows drop down       to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fox Acres Reservoir. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River; the North Lone Pine Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fox Acres Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Dowdy Lake - Arapaho National Forest                  is a good location for that; there are other places here than Fox Acres Reservoir, for example Letitia Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. On a tremendous day at Fox Acres Reservoir you can take a hike along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Fox Acres Country Club. The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Fox Acres Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Creedmore Lakes Campground is a good local campground, and Columbine Canyon is another delightful site to stop by nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Columbine Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Fawn Valley Inn. Just can't get enough of the Medicine Bow Mountains.
