The beauty of Fourmile Lake is reason enough to stop by. Fourmile Lake is located in the San Juan Mountains. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan Mountains. Going for a hike on the Fourmile Stock Trail is always a good adventure, and Fourmile Lake is a great site to camp, West Fork Campground is a great site. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Wolf Creek is a delightful site to do that.

The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Fourmile Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the San Juan Mountains. Near Fourmile Lake you hit upon the Turkey Lake Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and if you come at the right time of year, San Juan River offers some brilliant whitewater. | |
