If you're here at Fourmile Lake, you could pop by Falls Creek, and a fine close by hotel is Fairfield Pagosa Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Fourmile Lake is a location that is reasonably arid ordinarily; July is when you get the most rain here, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is wonderful at Wolf Creek; why not camp at Middle Fork Hunter Campground while you're here       at Fourmile Lake. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Hiking along the Rainbow Trail is good fun; you obtain a wonderful vista of Cherry Cairn from here. That right there is plenty of exciting things already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. The Turkey Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wolf Creek. Be careful coming to the San Juan                  and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Fourmile Lake is right by the Fourmile Stock Trail, and San Juan River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. After a long day outdoors Oak Ridge Lodge is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay West Fork Campground is a magnificent place to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Fourmile Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's.
