Do stop by Four Base Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Tamarron; why not head up to Kendall Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Good hiking is available along the Circle Trail, and Four Base Lake is a place with many visitors from Durango.

| | a good idea to visit Canyon Creek. All the outdoors exciting things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. If you need a place to stay Tamarron Resort is a perfect choice, and camping at Haviland Lake Campground is always a glorious experience. A delightful location to stop by near Four Base Lake is Nary Draw, and don't leave Four Base Lake without first going for a hike along the Highline Trail.

at Four Base Lake is about average; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is June. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a wonderful time. Camping is available at Durango
Koa Kampground; Canyon Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Haviland Lake Dam if you're here at Four Base Lake, and Silverton is a very popular ski area around here.
At Four Base Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Four Base Lake. You imagine that's
enough? Just getting warmed up. Four Base Lake is not the only location nearby, Electra Lake is a nearby lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Four Base Lake; Goodhope Stock Driveway is a wonderful local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Four Base Lake.
