Four Base Lake is a nice lake to visit. Four Base Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Durango Koa Kampground is a good campground nearby, and Haviland Lake Dam is a pretty location. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Four Base Lake.

| | Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Haviland Lake close to Four Base Lake, and Tamarron Resort is a delightful place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. There are other sites here than Four Base Lake, for example Forebay Lake. Hiking along the Highline Trail is magnificent fun, and Kendall Mountain is a fine local ski area. adventure along the Circle Trail. This is a popular place for people from Durango, and there are some good whitewater spots on Animas River. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Four Base Lake you can take a hike along
the Goodhope Stock Driveway, and if you're here, you might as well explore Nary Draw. Four Base Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the San Juan and
Jemez Mountains. Canyon Creek flows through this neighborhood; there's whitewater on Canyon Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Silverton is tremendous, and if you came for an overnight stay
Haviland Lake Campground is a glorious location to camp. During the summertime highs here at Four Base Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Four Base Lake tend to be in the 0's.
