This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Forrest Reservoir called the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail, and Powderhorn is a perfect local ski area. A delightful lake like Finney Reservoir close to Forrest Reservoir is a nice place to visit; Comfort Inn Delta is a tremendous spot to get some rest.       Forrest Reservoir is pretty waterless ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is regularly October, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Going for a hike on the Crag Crest Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and Forrest Reservoir is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Little Bear Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Forrest Reservoir you find the High                  Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and get wet paddling on Kannah Creek. So many cool things to do here at Forrest Reservoir, too perfect to be true. Greenwood Reservoir is a magnificent lake right next door to Forrest Reservoir; a pleasant close by hotel is Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge. All through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 90's at Forrest Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
