It's always fun to stop by Forest Lakes. Jenny Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Berthoud Pass is a very popular ski area close at hand. There are some nice whitewater spots on Clear Creek - West Fork, and a lake nearby is Arapaho Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and you can hit the slopes at Winter Park in the neighborhood. Whohoo, so many amusing things

Don't leave Forest Lakes without first going for a hike along the Guinn Mountain Ski Trail, and as expected Arapaho Creek is a pretty stream that is worth going to. Forest Lakes is commonly a quite waterless place; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Forest Lakes. But wait, there's more to do near Forest
Lakes. Skyscraper Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. This place, Forest Lakes, it absolutely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A perfect nearby hotel is Iron Horse Resort, and Mount Epworth is painless to spot from
Forest Lakes. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Front Range. Why not camp at Buckingham Campground if you're here at Forest Lakes, and you can go for a hike on the King Lake
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Rollins Pass is always fun; if you came for an overnight stay Fourth of July Campground is a brilliant site to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Beaver
Village Condominiums is a splendid place to get some rest, and there are wonderful locations to discover along the South Boulder Creek Trail.
