This site, the Front Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. Very delightful water scenery is available at Skyscraper Dam near Forest Lakes, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder Creek. High temperatures at Forest Lakes during the summer are in the 70's       while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Forest Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to visit near Forest Lakes is Rollins Pass; whitewater paddling is nice on Clear Creek - West Fork. Forest Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Winter Park                  is near Forest Lakes. So many cool things to do in the Front Range, not sufficient time. The skiing at Berthoud Pass is delightful, and while you're here, you could pop by Arapaho Creek. Camping is available at Fourth of July Campground; the summit of Mount Epworth can be seen from Forest Lakes. Forest Lakes is usually a reasonably dried up site; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Forest Lakes has it all. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Guinn Mountain Ski Trail, and a tremendous location to camp here at Forest Lakes is Buckingham Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Boulder Creek Trail. Lakes are brilliant; Arapaho Lakes is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Forest Lakes.
