Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff near Foothills Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Lookout Inn - Guest House And Suites is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Front Range. Hiking along the Green Mountain Trail is splendid fun,       and if you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Haystack Mountain Golf Course & Driving Range. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Foothills Dam while you're here at Foothills Reservoir, and if you come at the right time of year, Saint Vrain Creek - North offers some fine whitewater. You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called McCaslin Lake near Foothills Reservoir, and at Foothills Reservoir you can catch a sight of Potato Hill. This lake is                  so wonderful. Longmont Koa Kampground is a nice local campground, and Foothills Reservoir is right by the Saddle Rock Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Parrish Ranch Recreational Vehicle Resort & Evnt is a great spot to camp. A stunning lake like McCaslin Reservoir close to Foothills Reservoir is a splendid place to visit, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a great local destination. Foothills Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dehydrated regularly; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month of the year is January. For the period of the warm days of summer at Foothills Reservoir highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Foothills Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range.
