Not much rainfall falls here at Foothills Reservoir; during July this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Foothills Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - North. High temperatures       at Foothills Reservoir through the summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Foothills Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. Going for a hike along the Green Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and there are plenty of folks from Boulder here at Foothills Reservoir. So many cool                  things to do in the Front Range, not sufficient time. Foothills Dam is picturesque and it's in close proximity to Foothills Reservoir, and do go to Davis Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. From Foothills Reservoir you get a great sight of Potato Hill, and camping at Foothills Reservoir is great fun, Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park is a great local campground. This place, the Front Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. If you came for an overnight stay Longmont Koa Kampground is a fine place to camp; a spree to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Saddle Rock Trail; dry warm beds await you at Bighorn Moutain Lodge. Foothills Reservoir is located in the Front Range.
