Beautiful Fooses Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Arkansas River, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Hermit Springs. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Sawatch Range is excellent! Hiking along the Browns Creek Trail is nice fun, and Fooses Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Angel of Shavano Campground is a good local campground.

Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of Fooses Lake. Going for a hike along the Sheep Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and why not go to close by Como Creek while you're here at Fooses Lake. Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is a national park worth checking out, and at Fooses Dam near Fooses Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Monarch
while you're here, and Aspen Leaf Lodge is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Fooses Lake is right by the Fooses Creek Trail; a wonderful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Salida, Co.
