If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Hiking along the Conejos Stock Driveway is wonderful fun; if you came for an overnight stay Spectacle Lake Campground is a pleasant place to camp. This place rules, just check out all the enjoyable things       to do in the vicinity of Los Flores Lake. Going for a hike along the Ruybalid Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Branding Iron Motel is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Notch Trail; Conejos River is a good whitewater spot close by. Camping is available at Conejos Campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Rio de los Pinos. Summertime highs at Los Flores Lake mostly tend to be in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Los Flores Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Los Flores Lake is a rather wet place mostly with a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow while June is ordinarily the driest month. There's some flowing water close by, Rough Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here, and Black Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Los Flores Lake.
