Los Flores Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Spectacle Lake Campground is a nice local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Conejos River. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Don't leave Los Flores Lake without first going for       a hike along the Notch Trail. Lakes? Sure, Lily Lake is close by. At Los Flores Lake you can distinguish Black Mountain, and if you came for an overnight stay Conejos Campground is a glorious place to camp. Summer at Los Flores Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Los Flores Lake. This lake is so wonderful.                  Dry warm beds await you at Branding Iron Motel; Spectacle Lake is a great lake close by. There's good hiking along the Ruybalid Trail, and Rough Creek is near Los Flores Lake and is always a bliss to visit. Los Flores Lake is a reasonably wet place regularly with much rain; March is the month that gets the most snow; June on the other hand is the driest. So many amusing things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time.
