Sweetwater Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. Around Florence Lake you don’t       get a lot of precipitation; October is when you get the most rain here while January is ordinarily the driest month. This is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes. Clinard Lake is a lake close by, and you can take a little visit to Lake of the Woods Dam if you're here at Florence Lake. Florence Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Shepherds Rim Campground is a great local campground, and Himes Peak can be seen from Florence Lake. This                  lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Big Fish Lake is in the vicinity of Florence Lake, and do take a hike on the Oyster Lake Trail. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are truly bountiful here at Florence Lake. If you came to camp Himes Peak Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River - North Fork.
