Going for a hike along the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; not far from Flogus Pond you'll locate Perry Pond which is a scenic lake. And if you're still looking for       more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. Chair Creek flows through this area, and Crystal River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. Lakes? Sure, Lily Lake is nearby, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Hammond Trail. After a long day outdoors Carbondale-Days Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two, and the Sunset Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by.
