So many exciting things to do at Flogus Pond, so little time. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a magnificent choice; camping at Meri-daes RV Park and General Store is always a great experience. A nice spot to camp here at Flogus Pond is McClure Campground, and the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best. After a long day outdoors Carbondale-Days Inn is a perfect site to spend a       night or two, and there are other places here than Flogus Pond, for example Lily Lake. It is very arid here at Flogus Pond ordinarily; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Hiking along the Sunset Trail is wonderful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Crystal River, and Flogus Pond is right by the Hammond Trail. You can run the rapids of Crystal River - South Fork                  in the vicinity of Flogus Pond, and why not a little side trip to Chair Creek.
