This lake is so wonderful. A perfect spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Flattop Reservoir is White River - North Fork, naturally you could also take a look at Butler Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. Flattop Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Indian Run Campground is       a great local campground, and a fine nearby hotel is Candlewood Suites CRAIG-NORTHWEST. Take a hike on the Sleepy Cat Trail, and Elk Draw is unquestionably a tremendous place to have a look at. Around Flattop Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Elk Run Inn is a perfect choice, and you can have a good                  hiking adventure along the Oyster Lake Trail. For the duration of the warm months at Flattop Reservoir highs are commonly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Flattop Reservoir temperatures descend to the 0's. Be careful coming to Flattop Reservoir, you might not ever want to return home again.
