Sure, Sixmile Lake is just a very short distance away. Ute Creek flows through this vicinity. At Fivemile Lake you don’t see much rainfall; all through the month of October you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Fivemile Lake; Last Chance Trail       is a great local trail. This place, Fivemile Lake, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Cold Spring is a nice local attraction, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Oyster Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Sunlight Mountain; glorious hiking is available along the Fayville Trail. During the summer months at Fivemile Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures                  drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Fivemile Lake plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. White River - South Fork has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Meadow Creek Campground is a delightful campground nearby.
