Fishhook Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up regularly; December is the wettest month with most snow; August meanwhile is the driest month. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Fishhook Lake. Elk River is a glorious whitewater spot in the vicinity of Fishhook Lake, and golf can be played at Haymaker Golf Course. Through the days of summer highs here at Fishhook Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows       in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Fishhook Lake are in the-10's. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. A brilliant place to camp here at Fishhook Lake is Granite Campground; the snow is good at Howelsen Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Fishhook Lake without first going for a hike along the Divide Trail; why not head up to Steamboat and strap some skis to your feet. Dry warm beds await you                  at Winterwood Townhomes, and if you've had enough of Fishhook Lake, Lost Lake is nearby.
