Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Fisher Reservoir is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Antone Spring Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby; San Miguel River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a delightful little spree to Clear Creek, and paddling       on San Miguel River is so much fun. Yeah, come up here to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains for a great time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Tarantula Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Paradox Road. Fisher Reservoir is ordinarily a reasonably dry spot; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
