There are other sites here than Fish Pond Lake, for example Cherry Lake, and Fish Pond Lake is right by the Blue Creek Trail. It is very dehydrated here at Fish Pond Lake frequently; most of the rain falls during April,                  and the driest month of the year is June. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Sawatch Range is so good! Roaring Fork is a great whitewater spot near Fish Pond Lake; if you need a location to stay The Green Drake is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Antone Trail is pleasant fun, and on a wonderful day you get a brilliant view of Suicide Mountain from Fish Pond Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. A short tour to Spruce Spring is always worthwhile, and why not camp at Gypsum Creek Campground since you're here at Fish Pond Lake.
