Fish Lake is regularly a pretty waterless site; March is the wettest month with most rain while June is ordinarily the driest month. Throughout the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Fish Lake; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Highs       all through the winter are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Fish Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Hamilton Reservoir, and Powderhorn is a fine local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and there's brilliant hiking along the High Foot Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await                  you at Comfort Inn Delta; get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Gunnison River. A pleasant site to camp here at Fish Lake is Trickel Park Campground, and the Lily Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. So many cool things in the vicinity of Fish Lake, completely tremendous.
