Fish Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Mix Lake Campground is a good local campground, and Gunsight Pass is a good place to stop at. There's so much to do here at Fish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stunner Campground is a great site for that, and since you're here,       you could also stop at beautiful Lake Ann. Take a hike on the Continental Divide Trail; paddling on Conejos River is so much fun. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Fish Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Fish Lake through the wintertime generally descend into the 0's. Going for a hike along the Fish Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty                  of this region; Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit.
