This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Fish Lake has to offer, you can camp at Stunner Campground; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Continental Divide Trail. Best Value High Country Lodge is a good place to get some rest, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Conejos River. Just can't get enough of the San Juan Mountains. This lake       is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. During the summertime months at Fish Lake temperatures are usually in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Fish Lake through the wintertime commonly sink into the 0's. You can run the rapids of San Juan River - East Fork near Fish Lake; the Fish Lake Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. Man, is there a                  load of fun stuff to do next to Fish Lake. There's so much to do here at Fish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mix Lake Campground is a nice place for that, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Fish Creek Trail. And that's not all the things to do here in the San Juan Mountains. Gunsight Pass is in close proximity to Fish Lake and is a delightful location; a lake close by is Lake Ann.
