Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Fish Hawk Lake is one of them. You clearly ought to like Fish Hawk Lake. Stay the night at Dry Lake Campground, and magnificent hiking is available along the Luna Lake Trail. This site, the Park Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Hit the slopes at Howelsen Hill in the neighborhood, and a pretty lake like Snowstorm Lake is a tremendous location to visit. Throughout the summer at Fish Hawk Lake temperatures are usually

| | in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Fish Hawk Lake.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Swamp Park Trail, and do check out Lake Edward, it's a beautiful lake. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up.

of the streams close by that might be worth a visit; hiking is a popular thing to do around Fish Hawk Lake; Big Creek Lake Trail is a delightful local trail. Fish Hawk Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the snow
is December, and the driest month of the year is August. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Elk River, and Elk River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fish Hawk Lake
has to offer, you can camp at Summit Lake Campground, and Haymaker Golf Course is a nice golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Steamboat has great slopes and a friendly staff; a good nearby hotel is Village at Steamboat.
So much fun stuff to do in the Park Range, not enough time. A pleasant spree to Horse Thief Park is a great way to spend an afternoon, and if you need a spot to stay Western Lodge is a nice choice.
