The beauty of Fish Hawk Lake is reason enough to stop by. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Park Range. Not far from Fish Hawk Lake, you'll find Lake Edward which is a beautiful lake, and Horse Thief Park is a fine site here at Fish Hawk Lake. Any time is a magnificent time at Fish Hawk Lake if you like the outdoors. Playing golf is lots of fun at Haymaker Golf Course, and don't leave Fish Hawk Lake without first going for a hike

| | along the Big Creek Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Steamboat while you're here. Lakes are good; Snowstorm Lake is a lake that's near Fish Hawk Lake.

Lake Trail, and let's not forget East Branch South Fork Mad Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. During the summertime months here at Fish Hawk Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Summer
overnight lows sink down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Fish Hawk Lake sink into the-10's.
You truly should like
the Park Range. Skiing at Howelsen Hill is one of those things you just should do; Elk River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Fish Hawk Lake is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. There's just no way anyone can
get bored here at Fish Hawk Lake.
There's glorious hiking along the Swamp Park Trail, and Village at Steamboat is a magnificent site to get some rest. At Fish Hawk Lake you don’t see much rain; December is the month that gets
the most snow; August is the month with the least moisture. If you need a site to stay Western Lodge is a nice choice, and Dry Lake Campground is a magnificent campground nearby.
