Fish Hawk Lake gets very little rainfall; December is the month that gets the most snow, and August is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. You could also go to Lake Edward since you're here at Fish Hawk Lake; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Village at Steamboat. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range.

This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Haymaker Golf Course not far from Fish Hawk Lake, and hey, East Branch South Fork Mad Creek is a great local stream. There's so
much to do here at Fish Hawk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Lake Campground is a fine place for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some great whitewater. All the outdoors enjoyable
stuff near Fish Hawk Lake will keep you coming back persistently.
This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Steamboat, and do set aside some time for Horse Thief Park since you're here at Fish Hawk Lake. Whohoo, so much
cool stuff in one place! Fish Hawk Lake is unbeatable! A lake close by is Snowstorm Lake, and close by you discover the Big Creek Lake Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. After a long day outdoors Western Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the Swamp Park Trail is always a nice adventure.
