This lake is so wonderful. There's delightful hiking along the Elk Park Trail. There's so much to do here at Fish Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Poulter Colorado Camps is a nice location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Steamboat has great slopes and a friendly staff. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Fish Creek Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Steamboat Springs Koa Steamboat Springs Koa. | | the summer months at Fish Creek Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fish Creek Reservoir. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elk River, and there are magnificent locations to explore | |

along the Big Creek Bridge Trail. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Fish Creek Reservoir. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Howelsen Hill, and there's whitewater on Elk River for all
you adrenaline kick people. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. Nordic Lodge of Steamboat is a splendid place to get some rest, and do explore Fish Creek Dam while you're here. These
mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Park Range. McCrosky Gulch is in the neighborhood of Fish Creek Reservoir and is positively a delightful spot to stop at, and not far from Fish Creek Reservoir you'll
discover Trull Creek Reservoir Number 1 which is a charming lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Lake Windemere, and there's some flowing water close by, Cheney Creek is a stream you can
explore during your stay. Dry warm beds await you at Rabbit Ears Motel, and don't leave Fish Creek Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Red Dirt Trail. Not much rain falls here at Fish Creek Reservoir; of all the
months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is February. Fish Creek Reservoir is located in the Park Range.
