Fischer Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most while January is commonly the driest month. And that's not all you can do here at Fischer Lake. Round Up Motel is a good site to get some rest. At Fischer Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and the night is a little cooler of course, generally in the 30's. Daytime highs all through       the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Fischer Lake. Fischer Lake is a pleasant location to camp, Illinois Creek Campground is a pleasant location; dry warm beds await you at Antlers Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Fischer Lake is right by the Mendenhall Trail, and Fischer Lake and Pumping Dam is a picturesque place, certainly worth going to. Take a hike on the Pache Trail, and Bosewll Creek Campground is a fine campground                  here.
