Firestone Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls during May while January is typically the driest month. There's so much to do here at Firestone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Loveland Station Campground is a perfect place for that, and if you need a place to stay Longmont/ Del Camino Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Firestone Lake.       Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Longmont Inn & Suites, and Frederick Dam is a site that is close to Firestone Lake. Stay the night at B and B Mobile and RV Park, and Saddleback Golf Club is a wonderful golf course close by. During the long summer days at Firestone Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows at Firestone                  Lake during the winter generally sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
