Fire Box Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Fire Box Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from close by Montrose, and magnificent hiking is available along the Paradox Road. If you came to camp Antone Spring Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and a visit to Clay Creek Spring will fill your spirit with wonderful feelings.

Go for a hike on the Horsefly Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, San Miguel River offers some nice whitewater.
