You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Greenwood Reservoir near Finney Reservoir, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kannah Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Finney Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Carp Lake Campground is a great place to camp nearby; after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a delightful site to spend a night or two. | | is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the High Trail; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Powderhorn. Go for a hike on the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail; Forrest Dam is a lovely spot, absolutely worth checking out. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Finney Reservoir. the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's while Finney Reservoir night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not have a look at Forrest Reservoir next to Finney Reservoir; Skyway Campground is a great local campground.
