This lake is so wonderful. Finney Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Carp Lake Campground is a great place to camp nearby; after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a delightful site to spend a night or two. This lake       is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the High Trail; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Powderhorn. Go for a hike on the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail; Forrest Dam is a lovely spot, absolutely worth checking out. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Finney Reservoir. There's tremendous hiking along the Crag Crest Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Delta. Finney Reservoir is a location that is reasonably arid                  typically; the month with most of the rain is October, and January on the other hand is the driest. During the summer months highs here at Finney Reservoir get into the 90's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's while Finney Reservoir night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
