Around Fielden Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through August; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fielden Reservoir; Indian Creek Trail is a perfect local trail, and Copper King Canyon is a pleasant location to explore. Summertime at Fielden Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of       summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Fielden Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Sulphur Springs is an inspiring place to go to during your stay. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Fielden Reservoir. Fielden Reservoir is close to Fielden Dam which is a pretty place beyond doubt worth going to. There's so much to do here at                  Fielden Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a wonderful location for that. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Dry warm beds await you at Rio Cucharas Inn And Restaurant, and for you golfers we recommend close by Grandote Peaks Golf Course. Having a wonderful time in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains is trouble-free. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Eldora is close to Fielden Reservoir, and the Black Hills Trail offers hiking at its best. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Peaks Trail, and Fielden Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Circle The wagons RV Resort is a perfect local campground.
