Ferris Reservoir gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is October; the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Ferris Reservoir you can take a hike along the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway, and camping at Mc Phee Mobile Home and RV Park is always a tremendous experience. You'll find       a picturesque lake called Horsetooth Reservoir near Ferris Reservoir, and since you're here you can take a hike along the McPhee Stock Trail. If you need a place to stay Dunton Hot Springs is a great choice It's always pleasant to check out Ferris Spring. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Days Inn Cortez, and camping is available at Cozy Comfort RV Park and Mountain Retreat. Summertime highs at Ferris Reservoir frequently tend to be                  in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ferris Reservoir are in the 10's. So much exciting stuff to do here at Ferris Reservoir, too great to be true.
