That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. There are other sites here than Farwell Lake, for example Hinman Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Encampment River offers some brilliant whitewater. If you need a place to stay Nordic Lodge of Steamboat is a fine choice, and Farwell Lake is right by the Fireline Trail. At Farwell       Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Howelsen Hill; the Coulton Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. At Farwell Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the                  wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows at Farwell Lake through the wintertime generally dip into the 0's. Lakes? Sure, Manzanares Lake is around here. Float down the rapids of Elk River in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Farwell Lake; Hinman Creek Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at CrossTimbers at Steamboat, and if you came to camp Hinman Campground is a great location to do that. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Farwell Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Coulton Creek Campground is a splendid local campground; you acquire a nice view of Dome Peak from here. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Farwell Lake.
