In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Farwell Lake is one of them. Farwell Lake gets very little rain; throughout May this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do next to Farwell Lake. Stay the night at Hinman Campground, and a great spot to pop by close by is Hinman Canyon. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Park Range. There are other spots

Lake.
Skiing at Howelsen Hill is one of those things you just have to do; glide down the rapids of Elk River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Nordic Lodge of Steamboat; Hinman Lake is a fine lake
close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Farwell Lake; Fireline Trail is a good local trail.
If you come at the right time of year, Encampment River offers some pleasant whitewater, and don't leave Farwell Lake without first going for a hike along the Hinman Creek Trail. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here
in the Park Range. There's so much to do here at Farwell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Coulton Creek Campground is a nice place for that, and the vista of Dome Peak is wonderful.
