Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Fairview Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Deer Creek Canyon is a wonderful spot to have a look at close by, and don't leave Fairview Reservoir without first going for a       hike along the Long Hollow Trail. Not far from Fairview Reservoir, you'll hit upon Fairview Reservoir Number 2 which is a wonderful lake; if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Suites Denver Littleton is a great choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. There are good locations to explore along the Beaver Brook Trail, and after a long day outdoors TownePlace Suites Denver Southwest/Littleton is a                  tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Fairview Reservoir. Chatfield is a great local campground; do visit Fairview and Enlargement Dam since you're here. South Park Mobile Home Park is a delightful campground nearby, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Deer Creek Golf Club. Fairview Reservoir is a location that is rather dry mostly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. The nice people of Denver-Aurora like to hang out close by; there's some flowing water close by, Deer Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a magnificent time. There are some glorious whitewater spots on South Platte River. Lakes are fine; Fairview and Enlargement Reservoir is a lake that's next to Fairview Reservoir.
