Avalanche Peak is clearly visible from Fairview Lake, and you're sure to bump into some good people from Edwards here. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Eagle River; a tremendous site to camp here at Fairview Lake is Fulford Cave Campground. Paddling on Fryingpan River is so much fun. Having a brilliant time in the       Sawatch Range is trouble-free. Camping at Elk Wallow Campground is always a great experience; after a long day outdoors Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a great spot to spend a night or two. For the period of the long summer days here at Fairview Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's while Fairview Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are                  in the 0's. Fairview Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Fairview Lake is not the only site close by, Halfmoon Lake is a close by lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Lake Charles Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. If you need a spot to stay Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa is a good choice, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Last Chance Trail. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Fairview Lake. The slopes of Beaver Creek are so inviting nobody can resist, and if you get bored of Fairview Lake you could also take a look at close by Upper Camp Lake.
