It is very dried up here at Fairport Reservoir regularly; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is January. Don't leave Fairport Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Parika Trail, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Donath Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Bill Creek Trail, and Fairport Reservoir is tremendous       enough to spend more than a day at, Upper South Fork Campground is a tremendous local campground. The warmest time of the year at Fairport Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 30's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Fairport Reservoir drop into the 0's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things                  at Fairport Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Willow Pass Trail, and whitewater paddling is nice on Cache La Poudre River. Fairport Dam is a place that is near Fairport Reservoir, and Willow Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
