Lake Evelyn is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Lake Evelyn is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. Sugarloaf Campground is a nice local campground; the Byers Peak Trail offers hiking at its best. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Lake Evelyn.
Everybody nearby loves skiing at SolVista, and why not camp at Byers Creek Campground since you're here at Lake Evelyn. A good close by hotel is Kicking Horse Lodges by Resort

| | Management Group; there's whitewater on Fraser River for all you adrenaline people. At Lake Evelyn through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and the night is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake Evelyn fall into the-10's.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Park Range. Good hiking is available along | |

the Kinney Creek Trail, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Horseshoe Lake is just a very short distance away. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's good hiking along the Horseshoe and Idlewild Trail,
and if you need a place to stay Mountainside at SilverCreek by Resort Management Group is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Evelyn Creek from Lake Evelyn is painless, and hey, Gotta ski right? Loveland is
a nice place to do that.
So many amusing things to do in the Park Range, not enough time. Bills Peak is clearly visible from Lake Evelyn, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Saint Louis Lake is one of those nearby.
Lake Evelyn gets very little rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Evelyn you will meet lots of folks from nearby Silverthorne, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Colorado River.
