Gotta ski! Powderhorn is a brilliant spot to do that, and Fish Hawk Campground is a great local campground. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Eureka Reservoir Number 1. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows through the winter for Eureka Reservoir Number 1 tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Delta, and a delightful lake like Eureka Reservoir

Around Eureka Reservoir Number 1 you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through October this area sees the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. You don’t have to go far from Eureka Reservoir Number 1 to observe the water at Prebble Dam, and do visit Eureka Reservoirs, it's a pretty lake. wonderful. Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a great place to get some rest, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the High Foot Trail.
