Camping at Eureka Reservoir Number 1 is splendid fun, Fish Hawk Campground is a splendid local campground; if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a pleasant choice. Get dripping wet paddling on Gunnison River, and if you get bored of Eureka Reservoir Number 1 you could also pop by nearby Cabin Reservoir. Eureka Reservoir Number 1 gets very little rainfall;       the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. Why not stop by Prebble Dam if you're here, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Crag Crest Trail. While you're here at Eureka Reservoir Number 1 you can take a hike along the High Foot Trail, and the skiing at Powderhorn is splendid. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Eureka Reservoir Number 1 has it all. There is a great                  hiking trail near Eureka Reservoir Number 1 called the Lily Lake Trail, and Eureka Reservoir Number 1 is a great site to camp, Eggleston Lake Campground is a great site. Summertime highs at Eureka Reservoir Number 1 ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Eureka Reservoir Number 1.
