It's always fun to stop by Eureka Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Great Sand Dunes National Monument is one of the destinations right next door to Eureka Lake that are brilliant to go to. Eureka Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you want to pop by some interesting stuff, pop by Phantom Terrace, and going for a hike on the Loop Trail is always a perfect adventure.

| | most of the rain is August; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Near Eureka Lake you discover the Rito Alto Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and a pleasant trip to Groundhog Basin is a great way to spend an afternoon. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Hermit Pass is near Eureka Lake and is a great site; here at Eureka Lake you can catch a glimpse of Eureka Mountain.

is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Eureka Lake called the Hermit Lake Trail, and Eureka Lake is not the only place nearby, Venable Lakes is a nearby lake. This location, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, has so much outdoors
entertaining things. Why not camp at North Crestone Campground while you're here at Eureka Lake, and Challenger Golf Club is a perfect golf course nearby. Summer at Eureka Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout
the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's while Eureka Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's.
